The Reason for Darkness

As humankind has spread across the galaxy, war has spread with it. Of all of the nations, one group has taken it upon themselves to help protect the innocent, no matter the cost. The soldiers who go to war for this nation are left scarred.

This story is the tale of one of the few who survived. Achar Ronga is now an old man, requested by a local school to come visit and talk about his time in the military. During this visit, he shares the tale of a fight for a planet that cost him most of his friends and still haunts his memories.
