2022 has been a wild year and I'm looking forward to what 2023 has in store for me and for my writing. There have been a lot of things in the works during 2022 like the third and final book in the Roots of Conviction story. There are several other short stories and the second book of the Officers of Tomorrow series that I'm hoping to share with you this year.
On top of that, there are some things that are going on behind the scenes that I can't wait to share with you as soon as there is more news.
This month will be a busy one with a few things that I'm really excited about. The month of January is National Creatives month, so I'm going to be highlighting some of my fellow authors that I've gotten to meet and learn from. Keep an eye out for those posts that I'll be sharing to introduce you to their work. There are a few other things that I'm going to be including in my social media this month as well so I hope that you enjoy them.
Below are the base goals for this year. Check them out and let me know if you have any others you think I should do. Also, feel free to comment about some of your own goals for this year.
Goals for 2023:
400,000 words written
This won't be hard to hit, but with all of the editing and other things that need to get done this year, it will be a good goal.
Get 2 books ready to publish.
These will be the last book in the Roots of Conviction Series and the second book in the Officers of Tomorrow series.
Start work on a new book
I already have the idea and the outline in place and I'll be diving into this as soon as I get a few more sections added to the final version of "Knight of Ipredaris".
30 Books Read
This is another reasonable goal for this year because I average about 50, but I want to make this goal achievable in case something happens that takes up a lot of time.
